Kaori Sawada

Kaori Sawada is a Japanese singer-songwriter, pianist, and producer.
Born in Seattle, Washington, and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She began to play the piano at the age of three and started creating music. After attended Toho Gakuen Music High School where she studied composition, she decided to move to the United States to learn more about writing music, singing, and producing. She got her bachelor’s degree in contemporary writing and production from Berklee College of Music in 2008.
After returning to Japan, she toured with MISIA, Yosui Inoue as a back-up singer and a keyboardist, also started her career as a composer for TV commercials.
In January 2015, her debut single “Shiawase No Tane” was released. The song reached number 1 on Japanese iTunes Store chart. Her 1st album “Songwriter” was released November 2015 and only after 11months, 2nd album “FRONTIER” was released. She toured all 47 prefectures in Japan in 2017. Not only as a singer-songwriter, her value of composer/arranger/producer is very appreciated.
In 2018, she decided to move to the states to pursue her music. Her future success is greatly anticipated.
